Hey Guys, just to let you know, I have booked the ICFS on June 30, 2013. It is being held at Six Degrees on Yonge St. just North of Eglinton. The doors open at 7pm. If anyone is interested in attending then please leave me a msg and I will find out about tickets. It is going to be an amazing event with many up and coming Designers. I am so excited to be apart of this
Well I found the hair chalk from SPLAT. I tried Siver Moon on my daughters red hair. It worked!!! I was actually surprised to see that it really worked. It was easy to apply and it stayed in all day while she was at school. The only thing that I didn't like about it was that where I applied the colour it made her hair feel dry. I don't think I will make this a habit, of letting her wear these hair chalk colours. Oh well, what can a mother do.....Wait until the next big hair fad comes along! ;) I recently bought a washout hair colour for my daughters red hair. I bought 'SPLAT' Washables. Easy to apply and easy to remove. Little did I know that after you apply it, it removes easily. The product comes with a small spoolie (disposable mascara wand) and you dip it in the colour and apply it to pieces of hair wherever you like. Once it has been applied you can blow dry the pieces and brush the hair. Only problem with that is as y ou are brushing the hair you are also brushing out the colour. I found that this product, a temporary hair colour, is literally that - TEMPORARY. Unless you are using this on bleached hair it will not stay on virgin, uncoloured hair. It was only $8.00 but it was not worth it. I think I will try the hair chalk this time...I'll let you know how it works out. Last week I went to see "OZ - The Great and Powerful" starring Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams, Rachel Weisz and James Franco. What a great movie, Disney did it justice. I was a little worried that it would never live up to the Wizard of Oz but it was pretty close. I just adored the make-up for the 3 lead actresses. Urban Decay has come out with 2 palettes inspired by the characters played by Mila Kunis as Theodora and Michelle Williams as Glinda The Good. I have seen both palettes and they come with 6 shadows and an eyeliner and a chunky lip gloss pencil. You can create many different looks with these palettes and you can get them at Sephora for under $60. Go and see the movie, it is amazing!! I bought 'OLAY Fresh Effects' and have been using it for a few days. My skin feels really clean and soft. It has a creamy texture with microbeads for exfoliation. After using it I don't feel like my skin is tight, it feels supple. I give this product 2 thumbs up and would recommend this to anyone with a normal skin type. It is also good for people who get the occassional acne breakout. Follow this up with your favorite moisturizer and your skin will be laughing. Take care and thanks for reading!! Dee |
